Stirk House Spring Wedding

Natalie and Liam had an amazing Stirk House spring wedding back in May. They both live local to me so we hit it right off when we met to discuss their wedding plans.

I love shooting weddings at Stirk House, the light in the reception room is wonderful and they also have the legendary Dave who makes sure the day runs smoothly, he is always such a pleasure to work with.

Bride & Groom Prep At Stirk House

Both Natalie and Liam were getting ready at Stirk House on the day of the wedding. Natalie looked like a superstar getting ready in front of her Hollywood glow vanity mirror. The girls were so excited as they were getting ready for the day ahead. I made my way to Liam's room where he was getting ready with his best man and ushers.

I wasn't surprised to see the Jäger bottle make an appearance at such an early time in the day, these Bolton lads don't mess about. Great thinking by Liam as he came into the room with towels for them all to wrap around their necks so they didn't spill any of the Jäger bombs over their suits.

By this time Natalie and the girls had moved into the bridal suite for makeup. Natalie looked amazing in her wedding dress and the look on her Dad's face as he saw her wearing it for the first time was just a joy to capture.

Laughter & Lots Of Tears

What a beautiful ceremony Natalie and Liam had at Stirk House. Liam cried, then Natalie cried, then all the guests cried, I cried, we all cried! Not a dry eye in the house. We sure laughed too when the registrar called Liam "Gary" (I think it was Gary she said) Still, it made for great photographs and everybody was in great spirits. After they had tied the knot, everyone made their way outside through a shower of confetti for drinks and canapés.

Wedding Singer

The newly weds made their way into the room to stamps of feet and cheering. Natalie downed her shot just as Paul Guard started entertaining everybody with his interactive performing. His energy is amazing, he got everybody involved with singing and dancing. It really is fantastic to capture the energy he throws out. Everybody was in the mood to party.

Amazing speeches from the father of the bride, the groom and best man. The best man took it pretty easy on his pal, which I am sure he appreciated.

A Walk Around The Grounds

We managed to sneak Natalie and Liam away for 15 minutes for some photos of them alone together. The sun was beginning to set and the light was just beautiful. We had a walk around the grounds of Stirk House before making our way inside for the evening reception.

First Dance And Party

Dave give them a grand entrance back into the room as they had their first dance to Paul Guards amazing guitar playing. Is there anything this man can't do?

More shots got downed and before long the dance floor was packed with everyone partying the night away.

Such a fantastic wedding with an incredible couple. Natalie has recently told me that she is expecting a baby which is amazing news, she's even considering naming her/him after me. No going back on your word now Nat! ;)

Stirk House Weddings

With ivy clad walls standing for nearly 400 years and a crackling fireplace Stirk House has been welcoming guests since 1933. It is surrounded by beautiful views of the Ribble Valley with gardens and and a rustic woodland. The reception room has sky lights that light the room beautifully, with white drapes hanging from the ceiling. The team are always on hand to make sure the day is running smoothly and as mentioned, they have Dave who I absolutely love working with, the guy is a legend!

Energy Packed Rivington Hall Barn Wedding

This was such an Energy Packed Wedding Rivington Hall Barn Wedding. Honestly, the feel good vibes from the start of the day and right the way through Gemma & Tommy's wedding was just incredible!

It was my lovely Aunty Elaine that recommended me to Gemma & Tommy and I'm forever grateful to her for doing so. We met them both at our home a few months before the big day and I knew right then that this was going to be some party!

Wedding Day Rivington Hall Barn

Tommy was getting ready with the lads at their family home, which is about 5 minutes away from my house. We popped round there to grab a few shots of the guys necking a few shots! They don't do things by halves in Bolton. We then made our way to meet Gemma who was getting ready with her Mum and bridesmaids. The rain outside was just relentless, but this did not dampen any spirits as everyone was really excited and the Prosecco was flowing nicely.

Rivington Barn looked amazing when we turned up. Tommy was here by now and the room was filling up nicely. Tommy took his place at the end of the aisle and waited for his bride to be to join him. They had a beautiful ceremony filled with lots a laughter. If these guys were nervous, they didn't show it that's for sure.

After the ceremony, the rain was still pouring outside so everybody made their way to conservatory to congratulate the newly weds. This give us the opportunity to get a few group shots whilst everybody was together.

What An Entrance

Everybody took their seats for the wedding breakfast and awaited the entrance of Gemma and Tommy back into the main room. What an entrance! The music blasted and they entered the room with some incredible dance moves. The room was just bouncing at this point with every mobile phone in the venue pointed at the newly weds. This was a taste of things to come. First things first, food!

Hilarious And Emotional Speeches

After some amazing food, it was time for the speeches. Gemma's Mum give a lovely heart felt speech.

Gemma had told me back at bridal prep that they had something lined up for poor Tommy. She had somehow seen the first opening lines to his speech. This went along the lines of "I want to just say how amazing a look today" So Gemma had arranged that straight after he had said the line that Carly Simon's "You're So Vain" would be played. Sure enough, Tommy opened up his speech with the words predicted, and as "You're so vain" blasted out, and everybody in the room sang the words to him, the look on his face was just priceless, poor Tommy!

A Walk Around Rivington Hall Barn

We finally got a break in the weather and it actually stopped raining. We made the most of this by having a little walk around the venue and got some great photos of Gemma and Tommy alone. These two just bounce off each other, lots a laughs and banter.

A First Dance To End All First Dances

Time to get this show on the road. What a first dance! I mean these two have some serious moves, they had everyone surrounding the dance-floor as they danced to Luther Vandros. Before long, the dance_floor was packed with guests strutting their stuff to live music. What a Party, what a wedding!

Rivington Hall Barn Wedding

Rivington Hall Barn is located in Lancashire, near Chorley and Bolton. It's a Tithe barn that possibly dates back to the between the 9th and 15th centuries. The structure was restored, altered and enlarged in 1905 by Jonathan Simpson for Lord Leverhulme, a Bolton celebrity back in the day. It is a Grade II Listed building.

I absolutely love photographing weddings at Rivington Barn. It is surrounded by the most beautiful countryside as far as the eye can see. The barn itself has so much character and is the perfect setting for a wedding. Being a local lad, I have captured many weddings here. Definitely one of my favourite venues.

Weddings at hidden river cabins

Hidden River Cabins Wedding | Katie & Chris

What a wonderful Hidden River Cabins Wedding it was for Katie & Chris. As the plans began to unfold, we just got more and more excited about this wedding.

Katie and Chris moved to my neck of the woods on a whim when they saw a house that they fell in love with when visiting a friend. I knew then that these two were going to be amazing.

Wedding Day Hidden River Cabins

As we nearly arrived at this amazing venue, we could see the top of the PapaKåta tipi in the distance. More often than not in the Lake District it rains, and today was no exception. No way this could dampen this amazing day.

We met Katie at the fabulous Hidden River log cabin where everybody was sat down for a hearty breakfast. Chris and the guys were getting ready further up the road. Everybody was in great spirits for the day ahead.

Katie and Chris had a Humanist wedding ceremony conducted by the amazing Charlotte Pennefather in the packed tipi. I absolutely love a Humanist ceremony at a wedding. It gives such a true representation of the couple, a personal touch that means so much to both them and everyone who knows them. Such a lovely experience that had everybody involved, including an hilarious song from a few of their guests. Everybody were in hysterics laughing.

Mr Wilson's Second Liners

As Katie and Chris walked back up the aisle as newly weds, everyone was greeted to the amazing sounds of the incredible Mr Wilson's Second Liners. We were so excited when we were told that these guys would be playing at the wedding. "New Orleans meets 90"s club classics"  Dressed in their Sargent Peppers attire, this band rock some of the best tunes from the 90's in a traditional New Orleans Second Line style. Absolutely incredible energy, you have to check them out if you haven't heard of these guys before.

Pie Mash And A Wicked Party

The rain had finally stopped so we had a little walk around the stunning surroundings with the newly weds and the wonderful Lawson's who were on video. A few natural shots of Katie and Chris alone, it was time to get this party into full swing. People had traveled from all over the world to attend with a lot of friends and family coming from London. Pie and Mash was obviously the food of choice.

The speeches were just amazing, so many great stories of both Katie and Chris and how they met. It was now time for the second band of the day, Sega & The Boombox. Again paying homage to the greatest decade of all time, the 90's! Candi Staton - You've Got The Love played as Katie and Chris had their first. dance. A huge confetti explosion and everybody joined them on the dance floor, and never left that dance floor throughout the night, it was packed, filled with huge smiles, amazing moves and glitter!

I just love this part of a wedding, everybody is used to me and my camera by this stage and I really get stuck in there getting the best expressions from people.

What a day, what a wedding. It was such a pleasure to be part of it.

Hidden River Cabins

Hidden River Cabins is the perfect location for a stunning alternative wedding. The surroundings of the woods and river are the perfect back drop for a wonderful day. They have 5 log cabins that are situated in beautiful Cumbrian countryside and are all licenced to hold weddings. There is also lots of space to hire a tipi/marquee. They can help with any aspect of wedding big or small. We will definitely be hiring one of the cabins for a family weekend break soon.

Hyde Bank Farm Wedding

Hyde Bank Farm Wedding | Candice & Kenny

This was my first Hyde Bank Farm Wedding, and my did it not disappoint! When Candice first got in touch through email, I knew this was going to be a wedding to remember.

Hyde Bank Farm Wedding

Hyde Bank Farm is a stunning wedding venue set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside. Farmed by the Blackhurst family for over a century, the barn and endless grounds are the perfect setting for a beautiful wedding. A brief history of the building, On the far end of the building is a date stone marked ‘ARH 1655’. It is a grade two listed building because of its architectural and historical interest.

The building used to be a barn, where horse-drawn carts would pull in to unload hay and corn sheaves into the lofts. The buildings were once home to Ann Hyde who went on to marry James II, King of England! How cool is that? The ceremony room is set on the first floor. With its stone walls and oak beams its a beautiful room to tie the knot. The wedding breakfast and reception room is wonderfully lit and the perfect setting to celebrate the night away.

Wedding Day For Candice & Kenny

I met Candice and the girls earlier in the day at Magpie Cottages. Kenny and the boys were getting ready next door so it was great being able to capture the build up and excitement of them both. It was lovely working with the talented Bridal Hair & Make-Up Of Cheshire again. Candice looked absolutely stunning in her Ronald Joyce wedding dress and the look on her Dad's face when he saw her for the first time said it all.

The day started off in true Great British fashion, wet! The rain soon cleared as everybody made their way upstairs and awaited the arrival of the bride. They had a beautiful and emotional ceremony and walked up the aisle together as husband and wife to the lovely sounds of The Rolling Keys.

After a few formal group shots and drinks on the grounds, everyone made their way back inside for speeches and food.

A Walk Around Hyde Bank Farm

The clouds had cleared and we had a beautiful spring day. I had a lovely walk around the grounds with the newly weds and got some lovely portraits of them both together. Kenny Made Candice laugh so much as we walked, you could definitely see the love these two have for each other.

Party Time At Hyde Bank Farm

After a lovely walk around the grounds and of course, more drinks, it was time for that age old tradition of cutting the wedding cake and the first dance as Mr & Mrs. Candice's bridesmaid sang the first dance and did a wonderful job. Wedding band The Rolling Keys that are led by an amazing singer and and ex X Factor contestant. She made it to the judges houses, an absolute incredible voice. The celebrations continued with shots of Tequila and Jäger Bombs at the bar.

A fantastic day with amazing people at a wonderful venue. I cant wait to work here again soon with already a couple of weddings booked in.

Here are some of my favourites from Candice & Kenny's day.

Nunsmere Hall Wedding Photography | Helen & Ashley

A beautiful spring Nunsmere Hall Wedding with Helen & Ashley.

We loved meeting up with Helen and Ashley to discuss their wedding at Nunsmere Hall. Helen and Ashley are childhood sweethearts from school. We instantly hit it off and couldn't wait to shoot their big day.

Nunsmere Hall

Set against the beautiful Cheshire countryside, Nunsmere hall is a magnificent venue for a wedding. It has great lakeside views and surrounded by perfectly kept gardens.

Nunemere Hall is located in the heart of Delamere Forest. The country house is where couples tie the knot. Nunsmere Hall was built around 1900 and for many years, this lovely country home hosted luxurious parties for the elite of Edwardian society. The marquee that was set up beautifully is where the celebrations really take off. The twinkly lights above the black draped dance floor is a wonderful backdrop for the first dance, as though the newly married couple are dancing among the stars. one of my favourite venues to photograph weddings, Nunsmere Hall has it all!

Wedding Day At Nunsmere Hall

The sun was shining on a beautiful spring day when we arrived at Nunsmere Hall. We made our way up to Helen where she was getting ready with her Mum, sister and bridesmaids. We got some lovely photos of Helen by the window as she was having her make-up applied. Ashley and the lads were getting ready in another part of the hotel and I think the nerves were slightly kicking in at this point.

Back at the room with Helen in time for her to get into her wedding dress. The time had come to come to walk down the aisle with her proud mum Elaine. Teddy was a right little character throughout the ceremony, he didn't want to let go of his Daddy which was so adorable. After the ceremony is was time to have drinks around the grounds of Nunsmere Hall and enjoy the sunshine.

Singing Waiters

After everyone had sat down to to eat, Helen and Ashley had a fantastic surprise for all their guests. What everyone thought were waiters actually burst into song (after a little accident ;) ) and got the whole marquee buzzing. Everyone joined in the singing, making two conga lines which were led by the newly weds. Napkins spinning round heads and of course when Tina Turner's Proud Mary blasted out, the girls took this to another level! Never disappoints that song, thank you Tina for rocking many weddings and dance floors across the land.

Dancing In The Stars

As the sun slowly started sinking down we had a little walk around the beautiful grounds of Nunsmere hall. We made our way down to the lake to get some photos of the new Mr & Mrs Southern.

Helen and Ashley had their first dance that looked like in a sky full of stars with The Viscounts Wedding band playing their song. Cigars were lit and guests danced the night away.

What a fantastic start to the summer. Wonderful day with amazing people celebrating the wedding of Helen and Ashley. I wish them both all the happiness in the world. X

Adlington Hall Wedding | Emma & Sam

A beautiful Adlington Hall Wedding with Emma & Sam. Ive been chatting on Instagram with Emma for quite some time about her wedding, so I have seen the excitement build up over the year. I love the relaxed approach she wanted for her big day and she explained that she loved all those natural shots. A wedding right up my street!

Adlington Hall And Gardens

Adlington Hall is situated in the rural Cheshire countryside. It's a beautiful country home with a 700 year history of a single family that own the venue, the Leghs.

Weddings at Adlington Hall are a treat. The Great hall where Emma & Sam had their ceremony is simply stunning! Honestly the light in that room is a photographers dream and just suits my photography style perfectly. It has a great variety of areas to enjoy your day. It's surrounded by a beautiful English Rose garden and the historic walled Courtyard of Adlington Hall. The Hunting Lodge with its wooden beamed ceilings is where guests sit down to their wedding breakfast before partying the night away. Lisa and her team will always be on hand to make sure you have the best wedding day.

Wedding Day Adlington Hall

I met Emma at her home in Cheshire on the day of the wedding. There was a great buzz of excitement in the air as everyone got ready for the big day ahead. I also got time to go and visit the groom Sam who was getting ready just round the corner with his best man and ushers. Back to Emma just in time for her to get in her dress. Her Dad's face just lit up as he walked into the room to see his girl stood looking beautiful in her wedding dress.

I made my way to Adlington Hall where Sam was greeting all the guests as they arrived. Emma arrived at the venue with her father in a very cool camper van. It was a beautiful ceremony in the Great Hall, such a stunning room.

The sun was shining and we got the opportunity to have a walk around the beautiful gardens for some lovely photographs of the newly weds together.

Evening Celebrations in The Hunting Lodge

We made our way to The Hunting Lodge through a shower of confetti. After everyone had enjoyed the wedding breakfast it was time for some great speeches from the father of the bride and of course the groom and best man. I always get a little giddy when I see the projector being brought forward for the speeches, you just know you are going to get a very interesting (and hilarious) history lesson about the groom. The best man did not disappoint!

After the speeches everyone made their way outside to the gardens and listen to some live music from the resident piano player.

Emma and Sam wanted everyone to join them for the first dance and this filled the dance floor nicely for the evening party.

Such a great day with a fantastic couple. I wish them both all the happiness in the world.

Christmas Wedding Bartle Hall | Nicola & Rick

A Christmas Wedding Bartle Hall for the lovely Nicola & Rick. Little did we know, but Nicola & Rick just live up the road from us, small world! We met Nicola & Rick at our home in Bolton, Lancashire to have a good chat about their Christmas wedding that they were planning. Right away we knew this was going to be a brilliant day.

Wedding Photography at Bartle Hall Hotel

Nicola & Rick had chosen Bartle Hall for their wedding venue. Set in the stunning Lancashire countryside, Bartle Hall is a charming country house hotel and coaching barn. It is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and woodlands. Lots of perfect backdrops for wedding photographs. Nicola & Rick had chosen to get married in the Balmoral Suite. A unique barn-style venue with drapes hanging from timber beams. It really does give that rustic feel to a wedding, and thats exactly what Nicola & Rick were looking for. Rick has definitely got a creative eye, as he made every table centre piece along with all the stationary that was dotted around the venue.

A Christmas Wedding At Bartle Hall

Both Nicola and Rick were getting ready at Bartle Hall on the morning of the wedding. Nicola and her bridesmaids were busy getting ready for the big day and Rick and the lads had a more chilled approach. (like every man on planet earth) I think the Woodford Reserve bourbon whisky might of helped a little.

Guests started to arrive and before long the bar was already busy with people. They had a lovely ceremony in the barn, Nicola looked fabulous in her Ava Rose Hamilton dress and Rick looked very dapper in his suit. Huge smiles and cheers from everyone as they walked up the aisle together as new husband and wife.

We made our way to the gardens for a few formal group shots. I stole the newly weds away for 20 minutes to get some lovely natural photographs of them alone together.

Time for the party

The drinks were topped up for some absolutely amazing speeches. Especially from the best man who had a very special surprise for Nicola & Rick, well, I'll let the photograph explain all. Damian Kelly was the wedding host and Dj for the wedding and he had everybody getting involved. I have worked with Damian many times and I know it's always going to be filled with amazing energy when he is about.

More drinks around the bar and everyone was now in a full festive party spirit. Nicola danced with her Dad first and then it was time for the first dance, before everyone joined them on the dance floor to party the night away.

A wonderful Christmas wedding for an amazing couple.

"Love the photos! you have done such an amazing job!!"

Inn At Whitewell Wedding

Inn At Whitewell Wedding | Laura & Gary

Oh how I have been dying to share this incredible Inn At Whitewell Wedding of Laura & Gary. What a day, what a party!

Laura and Gary both live in London and brought lots of their friends and family up North to the Inn At Whitewell in the Forest of Bowland, Clitheroe.

A Sunny October Inn At Whitewell Wedding

We met Laura and her bridesmaids at The Piggesries cottage which is located at the side of The Inn At Whitewell. After getting a few photographs of Laura having her make up applied we went to meet Gary who was getting ready upstairs with his son Jordan and best man. They ordered a couple of drinks and managed to get dressed in record time. All looking very dapper indeed. We had a little suit malfunction when Jordan's button had fallen off his suit. No panic, as if from magic, Gary whipped a needle and thread out from god knows where and sewed the button back on.

We made our way back to Laura just as she was getting into her beautiful Heidi Hudson wedding dress. The time had come for her to meet her groom to be at the alter. St Michael's church had some amazing light that was shining through the windows directly on Laura during the ceremony. It really was a beautiful setting.

After the ceremony, we made our way to The Inn At Whitewell to begin the celebrations. The sun was shining but there was a brisk October chill in the air. We got some really great photographs of the newly weds around the grounds. Both naturals of course, I mean how cool do they look on their photographs? I did manage to get a shot next to the river from the balcony outside the wedding marquee. I did constantly need correcting by Laura as I kept calling the river a lake for some reason. :/

Incredible Party At The Inn At Whitewell

The party started with a bang! Wayne Farrow was the wedding singer and oh my did he get everybody involved. He had everybody up singing with their torches lit on their phones. Guests banging spoons on tables, it got so loud I'm sure they could hear it from miles around. The marquee was bouncing right from the off. The girl vs boys sing off's were really fun to photograph. Nobody had a care in the world. It has to be said, those southerners really do know how to party. ;)

We loved every minute of Laura and Gary's wedding, it really did have it all. Also a huge congratulations to them both on the arrival of their baby boy. Amazing times ahead.

The Inn At Whitewell

Set in the Forest Of Bowland, next to the River Hodder, The Inn At Whitewell has instantly become one of my favourite venues to photograph weddings. A 16th century rural inn that is surrounded by stunning Lancashire countryside. Everything is in close proximity, from the Piggeries cottage where the bride can stay the night before, to St Michael's church that is right on the inn's doorstep.

The marquee for the wedding breakfast and reception has views of the River Hodder. Glass doors that open up into a lovely garden and a very stylish black and white dancefloor to party the night away. The pub which is open to the public is known to serve the best fish pie around which I will be sure to try next time I'm there. The Inn At Whitewell is the perfect countryside venue for a wedding.

Le Petit Chateau Wedding Photography

Le Petit Chateau Wedding Northumberland | Toni & Danny

What an absolutely stunning Autumnal Le Petit Chateau Wedding in Northumberland for Toni and Danny.

We loved meeting up with Toni and Danny at their apartment in Bolton. You could tell how madly in love these two were with each other and how excited they were to be getting married at The Le Petit Chateau in Northumberland. They wanted something different and quirky for their big day. They viewed quite a few venues but just fell in love when they stepped into Le Petit Chateau. We have photographed weddings in Northemberland before. It is a stunning part of the world so we were very excited when they booked us to shoot their wedding here.

Le Petit Chateau Wedding

Le Petit Chateau is a stunning French inspired wedding venue in Otterburn, Northumberland. With a stunning gingerbread house set within beautiful Mediterranean gardens, it really is a perfect venue for a wedding, whatever the time of year. From crystal chandeliers, antique furniture, a stunning marble fireplace that is set at the top of the ceremony room and a water feature that actually sets on fire in the evening. There are also fire pits set around the gardens for those chili nights so wedding guests can snuggle around together. Exclusive use of the venue too so you would get the whole venue for you and your guests to enjoy. There are many parts to Le Petit Chateau, the Belle Epoque ceremony room where you tie the knot, the beautiful gardens and river for a gorgeous backdrop for photographs and the grand ballroom for food and a fantastic party after.

Natural Wedding Photography at Le Petit Chateau

I just loved photographing Toni and Danny's wedding at Le Petit Chateau. We bumped into the bride and groom to be in the next door pub the day before the wedding. We loved chatting to them about the big day over a few beers. (just a few)

The morning of the wedding you could feel the excitement in the air. It was a beautiful Autumn day, honestly they couldn't of asked for better weather in late October.

Toni looked just stunning in her Juri, Enzoani blue collection wedding dress. Dan looked very dapper too in his seasonal suit. They had a beautiful ceremony in the Belle Epoque room before everyone made their way to the gardens for drinks. They had a great Caricaturist doing the rounds too with some hilarious drawings of all the guests. We got some really lovely photos of the newly weds in front of the gingerbread house and around the grounds.

Fantastic speeches followed by delicious food, it was time to get the party started. There was so much energy on the dance floor with Toni and Danny throwing some amazing grooves out to the music and saxophonist that played some really great tunes that took the party to another level. All the fire pits were lit for guests to sit around, wrapped in blankets eating bacon butty's.

A perfect Le Petit Chateau wedding. Thank you so much to Toni & Danny for having us there to share it all with you.

Delamere Manor wedding

Delamere Manor Wedding | Sophie & Oliver

It was such a pleasure to photograph Sophie an Oliver's Delamere Manor Wedding in October last year. We arranged a Skype call to chat about their big day, and I knew right then that this was going to be a wedding to remember. Sophie is originally from my home town of Bolton, and now lives in Leeds with Oliver. I loved the idea of people traveling from all over to celebrate the wedding of Sophie and Oliver in such a beautiful venue.

A Venue With The X Factor

This was my first Delamere Manor wedding and it did not disappoint. Set by a lake and surrounded by over 100 acres of stunning countryside Delamere Manor is one of Cheshire's most luxurious wedding venues. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it was the former home of Take That star Gary Barlow. It would be a lovely experience to have a wedding here as it is just like being in a gorgeous home. Well more of a manor than a home, but you get all the comforts of being at home and not a hotel. You can gather with family is the kitchen in the morning before the days celebrations. The wedding breakfast and evening party are held in the huge glass fronted courtyard which has 100s of fairy lights that drape down from the ceiling. Delamere Manor even has a nightclub! Gary Barlow's old recording studio has now been transformed into a sound proof club where you can party the night away into the late hours. They also have Dale, who is the events manager and makes sure that everything flows swimmingly throughout the day. It really does have it all.

A Beautiful St Bartholomew's Church Ceremony

As I drove through the iron gates and made my way past the horse stables to meet Sophie and her family in the morning, I knew this was going to be a special day.

After getting some bridal preparation shots of Sophie and her family at the venue, I made my way St Bartholomew’s Church in Wilmslow, where Sophie and Oliver would tie the knot. I met Oliver at the church as he was greeting the wedding guests as they arrived. They had a beautiful wedding ceremony in a really stunning church. A big shout out to the vicar too who let me do my thing. I especially appreciate it when I get permission to get photos of the signing of the wedding certificate, and not have to stage a mock up version of it. It's better to keep it all real in my eyes. :)

After the ceremony, everybody made their way back to Delamere Manor to celebrate.

Take That And Party

The grounds around the venue are huge so we got driven down to the lake on a golf buggy for photos of Sophie and Oliver alone together. I like to keep this part of the day very natural. We had a little walk down to and overlooking the lake and got some really beautiful photographs of the newly weds together.

Back at the venue we had the pleasure to hear some really heart felt and hilarious speeches. As they turned the room around for the evening party, the guests got chance to gather in different parts of Delamere Manor. I just love the relaxed setting this venue offers, sitting in the kitchen or hanging around the outside bar.

Everybody lit their sparklers and surrounded Sophie and Oliver for the first dance and everybody joined them on the dance floor for a very special daughter and father dance.

Hit The Dancefloor wedding band had set up in the nightclub for everybody to get chance to get those dance moves into action.

Sophie & Oliver's wedding had it all. It was a huge pleasure to be part of their special day. I wish them both all the happiness in the world! X
